CYCLADS

CYCLADS stands for “CYCLotrons for Accelerator-Driven Systems”. The proposal investigated an innovative single-stage superconducting cyclotron as an alternative accelerator approach for ADS.

The 2017 project brief describes iThEC as a member of a consortium that submitted a proposal under the H2020-FETOPEN-2016-2017 programme. It brings together expertise in accelerator technology, nuclear research and superconducting systems.
